The Mewar Education Society, Chittorgarh runs a Teacher training college. A one year B.Ed. course is being run from the academic year 2005-2006 by its sister institution Mewar Girl's College of Teachers Training, Chittorgarh and recognized by the NCTE and approved by the Govt. of Rajasthan.

A B.Ed. trained teacher is eligible for teaching in upper Primary, Secondary and Higher secondary schools in the state. A B.Ed. training is a must for appointment of teachers in the second grade and lecturer in school education in the state of Rajasthan. A B.Ed. trained person can have job opportunities in government and private sector schools.

B.Ed. training is an exhaustive training. A trainee has to study four compulsory papers which include Philosophical and Social basis of Education, Educational psychology, School organization and Educational Technology along with two teaching subjects. A trainee gets theoretical as well as practical knowlwdge in the field of education with specialization in Educational and Vocational Guidance/ Environmental Education and Education Technology.

Duration of the Training	One Year
Minimum Qualification	Graduation in the faculty of Arts/ Science/ Commerce
Admission Procedure	On the Basis of Merit in the PTET test conducted at the state level.

In the State of Rajasthan thousands of schools are being opened every year in government and private sectors. At present schools are facing a big problem due to shortage of (trained teachers, so there are great opportunities of getting the job as a teacher. Even trained personnel can avail job opportunities abroad.

Knowing the importance of English language and its varied functions, the institute has set up a separate department of 'Language Proficiency and Personality Development', Every trainee who joins this institute is benefited by this department.

Faculty:- The college has a qualified and well experienced faculty of Education with 11 members in addition to Principal and vice Principal.

Hostel Facility:- The institute runs a well furnished hostel with a capacity of 100 boarders. Canteen Mess, General store and S.T.D. facilities are also available in the premises.
